Fishin' Schools are three-hour classes designed to educate students in a classroom setting about fishing.  The classes include instruction about lake types common in the Midwest, particular fish location based on season, and lures used to catch those fish.  A variety of lures, rods/reels, and sonar equipment are used for "hands on" training at every class.  Plus, Mike has an instructional packet that students use during class and then keep for future reference.  Fishin' Schools are a unique offering that can make you a better angler!  Five different classes are offered including:

  • Fishin' Schools (multi-species class)
  • Fishin' School On Ice
  • Walleye Schools
  • Crappie College
  • Bass Class

Fishin' Schools have been taught through Community Education Departments to students of all ages and skills across the state of Minnesota.  Students often say "We want more" when the classes conclude.  Contact Mike for details regarding scheduling a Fishin' School.  He can supply references from many Community Education Directors and past students as well!
